Happy New Year — and clear skies in 2026!

Since its release in April, the Houdini 20 has been a huge success, receiving excellent reviews from observers using Newtonian, refractor, and SCT telescopes. It's hard to believe it's only been seven months!

The validation of the Houdini 7 last month went very well.

The prototype of the Houdini 7, the third model in the series, has arrived!

The first batch of Houdini 12 will be shipped from KUO this week. We will validate and package them in our EU offices, and begin shipping them around August 12.

The Houdini 12 prototypes we received a few weeks ago have been successfully validated. It's a beautiful eyepiece that packs a lot of goodies into a compact body.

To ensure the best user experience, we validate each Houdini eyepiece in a 200 mm (8 inch) f/4 Newtonian telescope.

We've been using ROR fluid for many years - it's the best solution we know for cleaning eyepieces.

The optical and eyepiece housing design for the Houdini 12 mm 86° coma-correcting eyepiece has been completed.

The first production run is expected to ship to customers in March 2025.
